about a week ago mikes mom and step dad made their way out to colorado way of michigan.
their first night in town we decided to lay low and make a little dinner at home
the next day brought much adventure
first stop.....hiking!
we stopped for photo ops....mike, carly, jeff, and boomer (well he tried) to climb up the side of one small mountain. needless to say they were successful! by the end of the hike boomer was tired, so he relaxed under the tree's....he's an amazing dog and great hiker!
after the hike we made our way back to the city and cleaned up for our dinner reservations.

mike and i absolutely love this place, especially during 5280! we were super excited because their 5280 specials ran all the way till the end of march.
mikes mom and step dad had never been here so it was a special treat. there was some slight confusion at first regarding the whole process, but we managed.
the food was delicious. we had steak, chicken, shrimp, salmon, and even some ravioli!
this was a great dinner, we were able to catch up and have some laughs.
we were stuffed by the end of it....so we made our way home to relax
this was only the beginning our some amazing family time!!!
